From Barahona, a province of the Dominican Republic, comes the variety of San Domingo coffee, characteristic washed Arabica. Barahona coffee grows in shady plantations, in an ecosystem with high biodiversity index and a tropical microclimate, temperate with winds from the northeast. It ‘widely regarded as the best gourmet coffee of the Dominican Republic.
